The Flame called Love

my heart is stirring with love
burning deep with passion
for the one who loves me back

my mind is burning with curiosity
for i know he is awake
wanting to talk to me for heaven's sake

my soul is restless with prays in spirit
my body running with desire
to place a seal upon my heart that will last

a flame begins to burn as i sit
waiting for him
a match strikes in heaven and falls down

a candle wick lights with a hopeless fury
awakening my heart
and the flames race like the sounds of thunder

i hold a candle in the light
waiting for the lost soul who cries in the night
all i have to say is come to me my love

my heart is waiting patiently with anticipation
for him to realize my love
as i sit here holding the flame called love
